Description: This listing is for a factory optional 8 track tape deck for a 1969 Chevrolet full size car like Impala or Caprice. It appears to be the exact same one that the Camaro/Chevelle/Nova used except for the built in bracket on top, so this one might be a good parts one for one of those, or modify that bracket to match the other unit's bracket and use it in one of those cars. I didn't try to test it but I figure it's almost guaranteed to need some kind of service, at the very least it'll need belts, maybe more. A lot of the black paint has flaked off and the chrome does have some pits. It does have the knobs (nice shape, maybe slightly worn but not bad) and the wiring harness which is intact but feels a bit brittle. That harness is hard to find though, it'd be worth rebuilding with some new wires and stuff, I'm sure the connectors could be reused and there's enough left here to at least map out how the wires are supposed to go. Will not separate, what you see is what you get and you take it as-is. Usually I can ship stuff out within a couple days, but once in a while the shop is busy and it'll take a bit longer.
