Description: The Patch: This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage 65th Infantry Division shoulder patch with a white back. This patch is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. The History: The 65th embarked for Europe in January of 1945. Their first action came near the Saar where they attacked German positions in the Siegfried Line, as part of Patton's Third Army. The 65th advanced into Germany and fought their way to the Danube River in April of 1945. They continued to advance and linked up with the Russians on May 9th as the fighting in Europe ended.
