It remains in good condition overall. This is the 3rd Printing of October 1928. Old Pybus is a 1928 novel by the English author Warwick Deeping. It centers around a London bookshop proprietor and relationship with his sons. He is estranged from them as they refused to enlist in World War I. Many years later, now a hotelier, he meets a young book-lover who stops into his inn. Unbeknownst to him, it is his grandson. George Warwick Deeping (28 May 1877 – 20 April 1950) was an English novelist and short story writer, whose best-known novel was Sorrell and Son (1925). He was one of the best-selling authors of the 1920s and 1930s, with seven of his novels making the best-seller list. Deeping was a prolific writer of short stories, which appeared in such British magazines as Cassell's, The Story-Teller, and The Strand.
