Description: Stunning set of six porcelain Neoclassical cabinet plates by Josef Kuba, JKW Carlsbad, produced from 1930-1945. Features a central Neoclassical printed scene (4 different scenes included) surrounded by gilt filigree, a pink/cranberry band with gold laurel and an outer band of flowers and geometric patterns in greens and yellow finished with gold trim. Backs are stamped with the Josef Kuba JKW Decor Carlsbad mark used from 1930-1945, stamped Made in Germany in gold and displays a blue beehive/shield stamp. Each have two drilled holes for hanging. Each measures approx 9 1/2" diameter and are in Mint to near mint condition free of nicks or fleabites, note one plate has a small area of paint loss to the leg as shown, otherwise little to no wear, please see all photos.A fine addition to any home or collection!
