5YDS 1940's Darling Circus Menagerie Trapeze Barkcloth Era Vintage Chintz Fabric

Description: I have a thing for elephants...I always have...from my childhood we had porcelain elephants from the 1800's that my great grandfather left us...I was obsessed with them. And when the time came that I went vegan in 2012 it was because of elephants and images I had seen that propelled my soft spot and I have never touched meat or dairy or used animals products since. And if you adore animals l do...then the imagery in this darling yardage is sure to bring you to your sweet spot. A true creamy lemon whip yellow...definitely more yellow in person than photos appear...these yellows are sometimes the hardest to capture...so lean into pic #3 where I have it sort of truffled. This offering is for ALL FIVE YARDS x 36 inches wide of unused unwashed premium early 40's chintz...could be late 1930's too...a menagerie of sweetness...a display of old fashioned sun every way imaginable...from the creamy lemon ground...and the pops of colors meant to reach in and grab that restless heart of yours that has grown weary of the textile desert that exists out there...finding these relics is getting very difficult. I love the man and woman on the flying trapeze...the dancing line of frolicing critters...penguins...deer...giraffes...polar bears...antelopes and piglets...a horse carrying a circus stunt artist...a big old burly man's man that I could only wish for muscles like that in all his hairy beary self! Fabulous colors...creamy turquoise...candied red...creamy charcoal gray...dark lime...bubble gum pink...and a creamy soft pink with black and white accents. This is a smooth semi sheen chintz...it has never seen the light of day...it has a few tiny tic tac brown marks mostly in the first yard...leaving tons and tons of gorgeous chintz to work with. If you like unusual and special...have at it! I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help.
