Description: Growing Conditions: Tomatoes are a hot weather crop. Plant outdoors in spring. Start in pots indoors and transplant outside after last frost. Soil: Tomatoes prefer full, hot sun and rich, compost laden soil. Peppers and tomatoes are biennials and will produce fruit a second season if not killed by drought or frost. Add phosphorus and keep temperatures above 75 degrees F during germination. Planting: Plant the seeds at a depth of about 1/4 inch. Use a heating pad or other heat source. Leave two feet between mature plants. Watering: Water well but let dry between waterings. Tomatoes are deep rooted plants. Harvesting: Pick when color is darkest. Shipping: Free Domestic shipping on most additional seed bags. Mix and match seeds. USPS First Class or Priority mail. International available. I will combine shipping whenever possible.
