Description: This alloy was prepared as follows: Source Metals Preparation:The source metals (weights) were hand sorted to remove all Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn) weights, trash, etc. All "glue on" weights were separated as these are normally nearly pure Pb. The COWW weights were melted with care in temperature control to identify and remove any Zn weights which may have been missed during sorting. The steel clips were removed and the metal fluxed (cleaned) during the melting process. Random samples were taken for XRF yielding and indicated an average analysis of 3 % Antimony (Sb), 0.20 % Tin (Sn) with the balance lead (Pb).
