If you are working on a guitar or instrument case, on some cases the lining has to be pulled back from the inside of the case. ...put a rivet through...start the rivet legs bending with needlenose pliers....then tap the legs flat with a hammer...use a second hammer or small anvil as a counter weight on the head of the rivet while you are tapping. Install all the rivets so they are snug. Reglue the lining with Elmers wood glue; hold the lining in place with blue masking tpaes or clamps.....
