Description: A NEW 18k gold ring mounting an ANTIQUE (1843/1845) complex murrina by Jacopo Franchini, mentioned in G. Sarpellon's book "Miniature di Vetro. Murrine 1838-1924", Arsenale Editrice, Venezia 1990. This murrina is part of the first experiments of the Franchini family to create figurative canes, and is extremely rare. The setting was made by our goldsmith in 18 carats gold, and it is resizable. Size: USA size: 8,5 EU size: 18,5 Diameter of the murrina: 12mm. Total weight: 2,38 grams.
