Description: J.Powers - Sub-Surface Jointed Trout I've designed a wide range of lures over the years. I actually fish many of them, but some are primarily collectible. This is the only lure that I have ever made using "Camphor" wood. This is a 4.25" jointed, sub-surface swimsuit. It floats head-down at rest, then runs about 1' deep with a medium retrieve. It has very good, wiggling action - so it could be fished, if you care to. It has an open mouth, a split tail, a fiber board lip, and a metal dorsal fin. It also has nice glass eyes and kind of a "Golden Trout" paint pattern. All of my lures are primed and painted and protected by multiple layers of 2-part clear coat finish. This one is in very good condition and is marked "JP".
