Description: This is a 4-yard length of material cut from the full roll. It's lightweight, slick and strong. I think this was parachute canopy material, but I'm not positive about that. This was a government contract overrun that I purchase and I have never been able to figure out what the company was making except that it was a government contract, probably military gear, of some sort. A part of their production was definitely parachute or survival equipment related and I think this may be parachute fabric. It is the slipperiest fabric I've ever handled. It just slides over itself. It's so cool. This would be excellent fabric for pop-up canopies or lightweight sun tarps. The fabric is 60 inches wide and this piece is cut over 12 feet long to give you some working space at the ends. This would be excellent for bags, sunshades, packs or any application that needs a lightweight but strong fabric.Check my other listings for more MilSpec fabrics and elasticMy cutting shop is my back patio. I'm in Arizona; it's outside and dusty. I sweep the area before cutting, but this is white fabric and it might show up with some superficial dinge.
