Description: This is a set of 4 blue transferware bread plates in the Tonquin pattern by Royal Staffordshire, England was designed by Clarice Cliff. This pretty ironstone dinnerware is circa 1920-1930s. Plates measure approximately 6 3/8” in diameter. All are in exceptional condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. There is minimal to no utensil wear and appear to have been rarely used. One plate show a bit of discoloring on underside edge and plate foot.
