4 NURSERY RHYME ANTIQUE LITHOGRAPHS 1870 JACK AND JILL CHILDREN

Description: Inventory # 15-QEX Gorgeous 19th antiquarian chromolithographs depict Jack and Jill. There are 4 lithographs in this lot. Lithographs came from a very scarce art journal printed in 1870, and do not have any printing on the reverse side. Lithographs have brilliant colors and are in very good condition. Each of the 4 lithographs measures about 8 3/4" x 9 3/4". The upper right corner of the outer border in the top hand corner is slightly bumped on the lithograph with Jack & Jill with the water pail and the one with Jack and Jill with the pig / making a seesaw but these don't affect the image and can also be covered or pressed out when framing. The lithograph with Jack & Jill pumping the well/ having tea has a small piece missing from the outer left hand border and a very small piece of the litho in missing in this area. This could be corrected when framing.There are a few light minor smudges on the outer borders of all but very minor and could be covered when framing if desired. These gorgeous antique lithographs would look beautiful framed and would go well in a nursery or child's room or for anyone who loves the old children's stories.
