Description: 4 Novelty Envelope Note Add-On Antique Postcards. 1900s. For Collectors. Value This is a nice lot of 4 NOVELTY POSTCARDS that are UNIQUE and DESIRABLE. These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They have an ADD-ON Envelope attached to the postcard so people can put in a note inside. This was popular during the early 1900s, where people were able to send private notes like this for 1 penny. These are NOVELTY POSTCARDS that are rare and unique. Not too many were made this way since they would have to be first made as a postcard, and then the envelope and note was added. They are collector items and they will keep their value. Three have GLITTER attached as well. Overall, a nice selection of antique novelty postcards! These are collector items because of their age and uniqueness. The postcards are UNPOSTED (3), and POSTED (1), with a cancel date of 1911. Three of the postcards are EMBOSSED, probably "PRINTED IN GERMANY", three with GLITTER, and one has a city name on it - Westhope, North Dakota. They have divided backs. Three have notes inside the envelope (one opens up into a note). These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
