EMB, Gold Trim. w Value This is a very nice mixture of 4 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s and were "Printed in Germany". They have the classic New Years motifs such as holly and berries, wintery snow rural scenes, flowers, Clocks, etc. These are EMBOSSED and have GOLD TRIM. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. One of the postcards shows a church bell tower with a clock that says 12 o'clock. It is a snowy village scene in the background with a bright star in the sky. There is nice gold trim all over this postcard. Another postcard shows a clock and a bell, with mistletoe all around. There is nice gold trim on this card as well. Then there is a nice clock postcard, with the clock being framed in pink / red flowers. The last postcard shows the wording, "New Year Greetings", and above it are four leaf clovers, and a nice gold trim border all around. These were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Years antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, being "Printed in Germany", and their appeal to antique postcard collectors. Antique postcards that were "Printed in Germany" are sought after and desired by collectors and dealers because they were the best published postcards at that time. The postcards are UNPOSTED and they would have been published in the 1908-1912 era. The postcards are EMBOSSED, "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and with GOLD TRIM. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition.
