Description: 4 Glitter Greetings Novelty Antique Postcards.1900s.EMB, Silver Trim. Nice This is a nice selection of 4 NOVELTY postcards that are UNIQUE and DESIRABLE. These postcards were made to be sent out for GREETINGS and FRIENDSHIP occasions. These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s and they all have SILVER TRIM. They are all EMBOSSED, and they all have GLITTER attached to them making them NOVELTY postcards. Novelty glitter postcards took extra steps because they would have to first print the postcard, and then add the glitter. This is what makes them unique and not many would have been made this way. The postcards show FLOWERS, RURAL SCENES, GOOD LUCK CHARMS, etc. They all have glitter to accentuate the design. This is a nice group of antique novelty postcards that have the classic look of the postcards of that era, and these are collector items that will keep their value. One postcard shows red flowers with green stems, with glitter on the design. The postcard says "With Best Wishes", and it has silver trim on both sides. Another postcard shows a vase holding yellow orange roses and greenery, with strong gold glitter on the design. There is a postcard with a rural scene in the middle surrounded by flowers, and blue flowers and borders around. This postcard has strong silver glitter all through the design. The last postcard shows white flowers and greenery, as well as a four leaf clover, with glitter around the edges and in the center of the white flowers. This postcard has a strong silver trim background. These are colorful and desirable antique postcards. Overall, a good selection of antique novelty postcards that are nicely designed! These are collector items because of their age, being embossed with silver trim, how they were made with glitter, and their appeal to antique postcard collectors. The postcards are all UNPOSTED. These postcards were most likely made in Germany during the 1907 - 1912 era, the time known as the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
