Description: Set of Four (4) 6-48 plug screws, slotted flat head, blued steel. These are more compact than other longer ones so you do not have to grind your screws to fit them under your barrel etc. This way they won't rust where you have to grind or cut them like longer ones. *Note if you purchase quantity of 1 - you will get 4 total screws. Each quantity of 1 is 4 total screws. Quantity of 2 is 8 screws etc. These are NOT the positive stop plug screws. We have those in another listing though. Use these if you want the screw to go below the surface of the barrel / receiver. Usually these are used to plug holes under scope rails or optic mounts to ensure they do not interfere with the bottom of the rail or optic mount. The overall length is 0.125". It is recommended to use threadlocker and make sure the bottom is not protruding from the underside before operation of the bolt etc. They can be ground to make even shorter if needed. Plug screws are a real time saver. Fast and easy way to fill holes on barrels and firearm receivers.
