When illuminated by a light source such as car headlights, 3M 8910 shines a brilliant white making it detectable from 1500 – 2000 feet. That gives on-coming drivers between 17 – 22 seconds to notice you. Compare that to non-reflective clothing, giving drivers only 2 seconds to notice you as it’s only detectable at about 150 feet. 3M 8910 gives you over 10 times the distance and 10 times the seconds for drivers to see you.
