Pick guard is not included but can be purchased separately through my Jazz-Style pick guard listing.Like with a lot of Jazz-Style partscasters, you may have to enlarge the bridge post holes before installing the thimbles, so keep that in mind before purchasing. I put a 100% nitrocellulose lacquer finish on it, which allows the wood to resonate much easier with the thin lacquer finish! I went with a "Closet Clean" finish. Very little to no nicks/dings and does NOT have intentional lacquer checking. This is the perfect finish if you are a player who is looking to add their own natural aging with natural play wear!
