Honoré Daumier (1808 –1879) was a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, and sculptor, whose many works offer commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century. Daumier produced over 500 paintings, 4000 lithographs, 1000 wood engravings, 1000 drawings and 100 sculptures. Condition: The prints are bound loosely with cotton string, the pages are toned and the corners are chipped. Condition varies from print to print. One image has a prominent tear that has been repaired with archival mending tape, the wove paper is quite fragile. Several prints have scattered foxing. The images are still in good presentable condition. Shipping Notes: We ship same day via USPS upon receipt of payment before 3 PM.
