An especially compact variety, this forms a medium-sized bushy mound of dark green leaves with reddish stems . Huge saucer-shaped flowers appear in mid summer and continue until frost. Plants prefer evenly moist soil and sunny conditions. This selection has blooms of rich solid red and each flower (6-8” diameter) features five overlapping deep burgundy red petals. Prominent and showy creamy white to pale yellow central staminal column. Blooms July to September.
