Description: 3 Jade Mystery Snails. The size you will receive will be pea sized up to maybe nickle sized. Mystery snails are peaceful creatures and will not overpopulate your tank the way pest snails do. It takes 1 of each sex to produce fertilized eggs which are laid in light pink clutched above the water line. Squashing the clutch is all thats required to prevent any unwanted snail babies. Mystery snails do not generally eat healthy live aquarium plants. The only exception I've ever experienced is with duckweed as they seem to love that stuff. They are not very good algea eaters and require being fed regularly. Good options for them include fresh veggies such as squash, zucchini, spinach, kale, ect, as well as some type of algea chips or something for a little protien. They also need harder water with a higher ph to prevent shell erosion. For the safety of the snails during shipping i will only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
