This pipe is great looking, robust and a great addition to your collection. Like all chameleon silver fumed pipes the exact hue and glow from the pipe depends upon what background color you hold it against and the light sorce. When viewed against a black background (hold it against your black shirt to see an awesomely cool purple iridescent glow) it glows a purple iridescent color, against a white background it has a blue-yellow iridescent glow - a very cool and unique property of this unit. Keep in mind that these pipes are hand made and they will have natural variations in size, color and accents that will make each unique, but always beautiful. This pipe is about 3 1/2" long and about 5/8" outside diameter over most of the length of the pipe, expanding to a whale tail about 1" x 5/8" thick at the mouthpiece end .
