Description: This is a chance to own a nice pair of RCF N482/YK 8 ohm compression drivers (I am listing a total of 8). They are also known as the EAW CD2540 compression driver. They have a great DCR, work as they should, sound great, look nice, and have their original diaphragms. They are made for a 1" throat horn with a standard 3 or 4 bolt pattern. That is something unique about these drivers. They can bolt onto either one. They have a frequency response of 500Hz-20kHz, but is recommended to be crossed over at 1kHz or above. These were used in several EAW models including some from the KF series. These drivers are part of the Lab Series of EAW drivers which means they are characterized by exceptionally low distortion with an extremely linear response at low frequency. EAW sometimes used drivers made by other manufacturers to obtain the well respected EAW sound. They sometimes used RCF for compression drivers and ATC for woofers, for example. They would place a sticker on the driver with the EAW number as they did here. This is a great piece with a great sound. Please email me with any questions.
