If no degradation, repeat test up to ten (10) times for a total of eighty (80) hours, or until degradation occurs on either OE or device under test. Criteria: Device under test signal output shall not degrade more than 10% of pre-extreme heat age test functional test results. If device under test degradation exceeds 10% of pre-extreme heat age functional test results, or completely fails, device under test fails and need to be revised. If the OE sample degradation exceeds device under test’s degradation, or fails at any point during the test and device under test still functions (even if signal output degredation exceeds 10%), the test can be terminated and device under test passes. If minimal (<10%) or no degradation occurs in either OE or device under test after eighty (80) hours of testing, test can be terminated and device under test passes. 6.Thermal Cycle with Vibration Test Purpose: This test shall verify that the component is resistant to the vibration and temperature cycling that occurs in an engine bay.
