2pc. Laser-cut Acrylic Fret Rockers - The easy way to check your frets!

Description: This easy-to use tool helps take the guesswork out of leveling your frets!Each tool has four flat edges of different lengths. Place one of these flat edges over three frets on your fretboard and rock it back and forth. If you feel some rocking, then the middle fret is higher than the other two. Switch from longer sides of the tool to shorter as you move up the fretboard, so you don't touch more than three frets. The two tools included in this set should work for pretty much any guitar scale length from short to long, even most basses.These are cut from nice thick clear acrylic just a hair under 1/8th-inch thick. We make them right here in the C. B. Gitty workshop in Gonic, New Hampshire. Please note: Our Acrylic templates and tools all come with a protective blue-plastic film over them. To get the nice clear-acrylic beneath to shine, carefully peel back the film on top of the template. A hair dryer set on warm or heat gun on low can help loosen it to peel it right off. Acrylic can be very brittle, as such these tools are not designed to be used in any way that may stress the material. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ... We ship packages via the U. S. This may mean that our packaging materials occasionally show some shipping scuffs, labels, printing or other markings, but used cardboard does the job just fine.
