Description: Bru Jne 13 Colette is a large doll approximately 73 cm (29") tall, 93cm (37") including bonnet with peacock feather.Her head, shoulder plate, lower arms and legs are poured in finest “Parian" porcelain with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and fired in between each layer. She is perfection at its best. The artistry is superb with wonderfully detailed and shaded French eyebrows, beautifully spaced eyelashes, perfectly shaped lips with accents, and a hint of eye shadow. Shoulder plate, arms and legs, fingernails and toes are painted with attention to details and appear very realistic.She features beautiful solid glass brown eyes. Head is covered with a cork pate. She is signed and dated.Her wig is angora mohair in Hazel Gold colour with center part, fringe and soft curls. Her porcelain parts are connected to an elegant natural leather body stuffed with polyester filling complete with a weight agent for stability and decorated with cotton lace. Upper arms and legs are natural leather and cotton fabric and feature movable joints so she can change poses. I decided to make this type of body for my Bru to make her able to sit sturdy and beautifully without any support.Colette's ears are pierced, she wears gorgeous Swarovski glass pearl earrings and matching necklace made with real freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystal beads.Her costume pattern was completely drafted out by me to resemble an antique costume and made with several different pure silk and cotton fabrics. The bonnet is wired and made with a brown cotton fabric decorated with bright green pleated cotton lace, silk flowers, woolen ribbons and peacock feather.The main fabric in the jacket and corset is vintage pure silk in green color decorated with vintage french lace and cotton pleated lace. The entire inside of the jacket and corset are fully lined with light green lining fabric.Her beautiful skirt is made from vintage silk fabric combined with embroidered net fabric.The bloomers are very fine cotton fabric decorated with vintage english lace and satin ribbons.The shoes are hand made from brown color leather to match the outfit and added lovely vintage lace rosettes. The soles are also made of leather and stamped "BRU jne".This doll has hand made crochet cotton stockings.Colette has a vintage wooden crochet umbrella decorated with green lace and silk flowers. Umbrella is in a very good vintage condition but wears some signs of time.Colette comes with a sturdy metal stand, mohair wig, earings, necklace, bonnet, bloomers, corset, jacket, skirt, croched socks, leather shoes, vintage umbrella as in the pictures.She will arrive in her special decorative box with a certificate of authentity.Payment plan is available.Please keep in mind that this is not a toy, nor is it for a child.
