Description: This Socket is made in the USA by WCM! This auction is for a 6061 aluminum CNC machined 28mm socket with 3/8 square drive. It features large recesions on top for better grip with oily fingers. It has a 1/2 inch pocket. The socket is thin walled and has a large outside radius to fit all forks with a 28mm cap. It has a zero champher on the hex along with a tighter fit clearance then an equivalent size socket to give you better holding power for those short fork nuts. This is for use on a fork only, do not get this to take apart anything else that requires a steel socket. Max torque is 100ft/lbs. This fits FOX 34mm stanchion models along with 32mm stanchion magura forks and various other makes and models of fork. This is the socket you need for any fork with a 28mm top cap or air cap.
