Description: The Twenty-Fifth Annual Masquerade on December 26,1904 took place in Longmont,Colorado Sponsored by the Longmont Fire Department, at the Opera House, it started "promptly" at eight O'clock. Music for the 26 dances and 5 set pieces was provided by the Opera House Orchestra led by Mr. A.D Carrie. A note at the start of the dance portion states emphatically that "The Orchestra will not respond to encore requests before unmasking." Cut in the shape of a book with gilded pages, it still has its original pencil. The name "Satie" on the cover is written with that pencil and could be erased. There is no music inside written by composer Satie. A rare souvenir in amazing condition. And thanks to THE LONGMONT FIRE DEPARTMENT. Shipped First Class with Tracking. All sales are final.
