I cannot guarantee this every single time, but many are berried now (May/June) and will continue for several months. Typically these berried females are only 1/2" to 1" long max. Dwarf Cajun Crayfish is the only species that can be trusted to live reasonably peacefully with small fish and shrimp, and to not tear up the plants in your planted aquarium. Tolerates a cold water pond or a tropical aquarium. I collect these the same day I ship so they are not weakened in holding tanks for weeks on end.
