Description: American artist Dalhart Windberg, who was born in 1933, studied under landscape artist Simon Michael. By 1967, he worked as a full-time artist, and Dalhart Windberg's oil paintings of American landscapes began to garner attention from the art world. Dalhart Windberg's prints of reproduced still life and figurative paintings that he did of culture and everyday life in Mexico and Greece showed his skill with light, color, and shadow. Dalhart Windberg paintings for sale were created using a method he invented called the smooth surface technique, a way of speeding up traditional methods of oil painting but still maintaining the look of classic oil pieces. Because of the interest shown in Dalhart Windberg's prints and paintings, he began to mentor up-an-coming artists in his techniques. Total size: 36"x44 1/4 Canvas size: 24” x 36"
