Description: Welcome to my listing for: 24.5mm Brass Lafayette Hall (Saloon Sacramento, CA) Token Clover Shamrock (#51)In 1885, Lafayette Hall & Saloon moved from 316 "K" Street to 1020 Third Street and remained there until at least July of 1964 when it closed for "a week to 10 days for repairing and refitting" - that was the latest bit of info I could find for this saloon.Although I have listed over 50 or so of this particular token, in my research I found only a few other examples available over the past 10-15 years. These were part of the important Benjamin Fauver collection that was recently brought to market after having spent several decades as a private collection. Benjamin's collection was very large in scope and contained several scarce tokens and counters where there were also very few other examples that changed hands over the past several decades. If these appeal to you, it may be a good idea to pick up a few before they disappear again for another 20-30 years.
