Mikimoto made this long vintage pearl matinee necklace with a 14k yellow gold clasp. Mikimoto is known for the finest quality of cultured pearls and exceptional jewelry design. This particular piece was part of the Blue Lagoon US line. Twenty-three and 3/4 inches of knotted 6mm to 6.5mm pearls flow around the necklace. The pearls are a creamy white with a very nice shiny luster. The necklace has a yellow gold fish hook box clasp, which looks like two clam shells that form a bow shape. The back is marked "585" (14k gold) along with "BL" hallmark attributed to Blue Lagoon (Mikimoto). The necklace is accompanied by a "Guarantee Tag" that lists the size of pearls and necklace size. Also included is its original blue storage box. Pearl necklace is in new & unworn condition. The original blue Blue Lagoon box is in excellent & clean condition.
