They are made out of dried gourds that are then painted in bright colorful scenes of Mexico. This type of craft is typical of panting styles in Guerrero Mexico and is also reminiscent of the Amante Bark Painting Style. The sizes of these ornaments varies due to the use of natural gourds, some being round and others more oval shaped.
