The mintage of this coin is an extremely limited 750 and sold out. This comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and display box. This 5oz colorized silver coin is an incredible display of Koi fish, who are admired for their beauty, serenity, and symbolic significance. Identical with harmony and happiness, they are often associated with the yin yang symbol in feng shui, representing opposing, yet balancing forces said to govern the cosmos. The obverse portrays a Yin Yang symbol with black and polished teardrop-shaped halves, each featuring the image of a Koi. The interdependence of the fish is represented by the seed of its rival in the form of a black freshwater pearl on the head of the polished koi, and a white freshwater pearl on the head of the black koi. Also included in the design is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
