Description: S. alata Black Pubescent (Christian Klein) x Self This seed comes from a European clone of alata. As the name implies, it gets dark in optimal conditions. Very dark. And it’s fuzzy. The overall shape of the leaves from the stem to the hood and lip are incredible. Each pack contains approximately 30 seeds (plus a few extra) harvested by me in 2024. I pollinate Sarracenia from my own collection by hand at least two times (different days), either with a fresh q-tip or clean paintbrush. I protect pollinated flowers using organza bags to reduce the chances of animal pollination. Seed packs are shipped in small envelopes via USPS.
