The coin has a mintage of 999 and is sold out of the Mint. The coin also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and display box. The leopard's ability to perfectly blend in with the harrowing conditions of Mongolian landscape, makes for a prime example of survival and adaptability. The snow leopard inhabits mountains at altitudes of up to 5,500 meters. Apart from the striking portrayal of the animal’s front and side profile, the polished claws, and coat of arms on the back are equally eye-catching. The obverse features a black close up of the Snow Leopards face, on the left side, while a prowling Snow Leopard embodies the right side of the coin. The reverse features the Mongolian Coat of Arms along with the face value of the coin, the issuing country, weight, and purity; set to the right of the Snow Leopards very large paws.
