Very sophisticated construction inside that is almost never found at this price. It is almost exactly the same construction, and has the very same sidecut geometry (shape), rocker profile, and the same turn radius as the standard Brahma 88 which is only sold flat. However, because this ski has less Titanal inside, it feels lighter, more playful and less demanding on the snow than the more expensive Brahma 88. This might not be the choice for the fastest, hi speed skiers, but for most of us, this is a great all around, "all day, every day" ski. This SP version of the Brahma 88 differs from the standard Brahma 88 in a couple of features; (1) This ski has a more durable, longer lasting textured top sheet, (2) the base is mostly black, rather than clear and is easier to repair, (3) a metal tip protector offers extra cosmetic durability, and (4) it is only available with the Marker binding shown, and (5) it has a single sheet of Ti under the binding area, rather than sheets of Ti running full length. This ski is matched up the Marker TCX 11 binding system. This model from Marker has everything a performance skier wants in a binding, and can adjusted to fit any boot with no holes to redrill ever. High performance toe design comes from Marker's Squire family and the soft entry heel makes this binding super easy to step in and out of. This binding is compatible with standard Alpine boot soles, but also with the newer Grip Walk boots that are available as well. This binding has a DIN range of 3 to 11, and will work for any skier with a DIN setting of 4 or higher.
