Description: The 70th Anniversary Les Paul Custom is a limited edition model that commemorates the legacy of the first LPC introduced in the early 1950's. The guitar's vintage-inspired design closely replicates the original "Black Beauty", paying homage to the era-defining aesthetics and tone. These special edition guitars were handmade in Gibson's Custom Shop ensuring meticulous attention to detail and high-grade finishes. They featured a solid mahogany body and neck and an ebony fretboard along with a distinct 70th Anniversary badge. Serial #CS200106 was acquired earlier this year from the original owner. Its condition is superb with only minor indications of wear to its original finish. Bone stock. No repairs or issues. Neck is straight and the frets are immaculate. Additionally, this particular example was built with the relatively rare option of nickel hardware. This guitar looks, plays and, of course, sounds fantastic.
