No welding is required. Our design has factory style hangers welded directly to the pipe for Strength and uses a factory style flange that bolts right to the factory converter to keep the stock emissions system intact. The rear clamp joint has been cross cut to allow pipes to compress down on to the tailpipes for a tight fit that will hold. We do not use clamp on or bolt on universal hangers.
