This stool has been stored unopened for twenty years. Built at a time when precision and good craftsmanship mattered, the L-legs attach with bolts and steel threaded inserts. (Today, wood screws are used.) Awarded the 2019 Good Design Long Life Design Award by the Japanese Institute of Design Promotion.
