The obverse of all 2018 Australian Mother & Baby Koala Silver Coins features the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. In this depiction created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, the Royal Mint of England issued the fourth-generation design used on British coinage through the 2015 issue of British coins.
