The HSH pickup complement features a pair of Hot Grinder humbuckers flanking a Short Tracer 2 single coil. The Hot Grinder humbuckers are high-output, particularly the Hot Grinder 2 bridge pickup, which features one screw pole coil and one blade coil. Both humbuckers are bold and aggressive, with big, tight low end and boosted mids tailored for high gain. The Short Tracer 2 single coil offers more power than a standard single coil, working well with the humbuckers when coil-tapped (positions 2 and 4 on the five-way switch).
