Description: 2007 CIJ Fender Marcus Miller Signature Jazz Bass 3-Tone Sunburst w/G&G Blonde CaseUp for sale, a stunning Crafted in Japan 2007 Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass in 3-Tone Sunburst finish, with a rare USA made G&G Blonde Tolex Hard case with Blue interior, in Very Good+ condition.Based on Marcus Miller's 1977 Fender Jazz Bass, this signature Bass has all the features you can expect from a late '70s Jazz Bass with its signature active onboard preamp, BadAss II bridge and neck pickup cover.As expected on a period correct instrument, a beautiful figured Ash body with Maple neck (bound neck with block inlays), 3 bolt neck F plate with bullet truss rod. 3-ply black extended pickguard with a US made Jazz Bass set of pickups and its MM's signature preamp with Bass - Treble boost.We can provide more photos, audios or videos upon request through the message area.Weighting at 10.4 lbs, which is average for an Ash body instrument from the era (and not too heavy compared to others over 11 and even 12 lbs).The 3-Tone sunburst Glossy Poly finish combined with the original 3-ply black pickguard and a Maple neck with White binding and pearl block inlays creates a stunning combination. This is an amazing example of a Marcus Miller Jazz Bass, which is well known for its Characteristic punch, attack and bright sound. The instrument has some little wear due to its age (very minimal surface level marks of usage and buckle rush), however the bass is in Very good+ condition and it's been played or used with the utmost care.The neck is incredible, a massive all Maple neck with a great flame and the typical skunk stripe, very smooth to play. It's a medium (not too chunky) neck profile (0.830" Neck thickness at 1st fret and .950" at 12th fret). Nut width is 1.5". The Neck is perfectly straight, with truss rod functioning both ways. It's been professionally set and strung with a round wound set of D'addario Nickel. The bass really plays great/Originally and throughout the years, the MM Jazz Bass came with no case or gig bag , however this particular one comes with a ($320 value) Made in USA Fender G&G vintage reissue Blonde tolex hard case (which is in excellent condition, fully functional included int he sale.It ships out professionally packed and fully insured to Continental US and some international destinations as well.
