Description: Up for sale is a Spectacular Stanwell estate pipe. This pipe is marked Holstebro 2004 on the brass Plaque. Stanwell made in Denmark 228 on the shank. Crown over S on the acrylic stem. This pipe is known as a Stanwell city pipe. These pipes were made for local pipe competitions or events held in that town for the year. A more rare type of pipe from Stanwell with their classic shape numbers. Great classic Tom Eltang design dublin billiard shape with a nice smooth finish that shows off the gorgeous grain all along the bowl and shank. This pipe is used, but in nice condition overall. Does need a cleaning before smoking. Has some rim wear and a little darkening. Overall a great solid Stanwell estate pipe for any collector or smoker.
