Description: 2003 D ROOSEVELT DIME ERROR COIN Condition: Very Good Color: Red Weight: 2.22g This 2003 D Roosevelt Dime is a business strike type, has a denomination of 10C and was minted in Denver. The coin is both uncertified and circulated. This coin would make a unique addition to any collection. With a brilliant red/rainbow color, it will most certainly turn a few heads. But six appeal is not all it has. This coin appears to show signs of doubled die on both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin. If it isn't doubled die, then the lettering shows significant ghosting or shadowing - perhaps due to the missing clad layers. This remarkable coin also features some pretty distinct errors. The errors are all found on the obverse side of the coin. The 'U' in the word TRUST looks like an O, the '2' in the date 2003 looks as if it were two separate pieces placed together, the first '0', also in the date is shaky and misshapen, while the '3', again in the date appears smudged. Finally, the Mint Mark 'D' looks stretched out and oversized. Even without these errors, this Coin is a showstopper! I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
