However, there are things this machine can't repair.Pinhole scratches & Extremely deep scratches.Pinhole scratches are scratches that goes through from reading side to label side. When you see scratches that shows on both sides, most likely data inside is damaged. You can shine the light and if you see through the light from a hole or scratches, that means there is a pinhole scratch on your disc.If scratches are so deep, scratches may be reached the actual data storage. We will resurface it anyways but the media may not be played if the deep scratch may have damaged the data already even though cosmetically the disc looks free of scratches.CracksSimply resurfacing machine can't fix a crack.Label side scratchesThis machine only repair reading side scratches.Disc rot / Disc with corrupt dataDisc rot can happen inside and outside of the disc and it could damage the data of the disc. We will resurface it anyways but the media may not be played if the actual data have been already damaged.Label side scratchesThis machine only repair reading side scratches.Blu-ray discs with a certain kind of scratches.Unlike CD and DVD, Blu-ray discs use a very thin film on the reading side layer. It is naturally scratch proof but once it gets scratched up, many scratches go through the layer and become unremovable. If you already see deep scratches on the blu-ray disc, we don't recommend sending it in since most likely we won't be able to do anything about it (We will try but once scratches go through the layer, there is nothing we can do about it.) Mail-in InstructionPurchase repair service. If you need to send in more, please let us know. Send your discs to us. Our mailing address is 2400 E Main St STE G, Montrose CO 81401. DO NOT send in jewel cases. We recommend using a spindle case, soft disc case, or paper sleeves. A spindle case is the most preferred method. Please make sure to pack your discs well so that they won't get damaged during the transit. Please make sure to ship with the tracking number. Please cover shipping cost to our office.Let us know the tracking number.Once we received your discs, we will start resurfacing. Turn around time is based on how soon you ship discs to us and how busy we are.We will let you know once resurfacing is done and ready to be shipped back to you. We will cover the returning shipping cost. We will let you know the tracking number once we ship your discs back.We use USPS Ground advantage for game discs and USPS Media Mail for Music/Movie discs.
