Description: Twenty prints of Brazilian plants under the threat of extinction. These are prints of watercolors done by Maria Werneck de Castro between 1973 and 1986. Printed in 1987. This botanical iconography printing was sponsored by Shell in Brazil. In addition to the prints there are about 12 pages of print, including a forward, index, and biography of Werrneck in Portuguese and English. Each print has more information on each species depicted printed on the reverse side. Two of the prints have some staining, may be cleaned. The cardboard case has some damage.
