Description: Great feeders or additions to any bioactive enclosure or terrarium as a clean up crew or to start your own culture. These are one of our favorite pods and are easy to culture. These are fairly quick breeders as well and great to seed a tank with or to start your very own culture. Springtails and Isopods are the heart of a bioactive enclosure! Add a starter culture of pink springtails for an additional $10. The two species thrive together as they both work independently and synergistically. Isopods are great recyclers in a bioactive set up, eating any decaying organic material to help clean the tank as well as aerate the soil. While springtails target what isopods don't. Springtails eat all kinds of molds, fungus, and spores to help keep any outbreaks under control (which is why I recommend them in all terrarium set ups!). Please note we only ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid any chance of delays over the weekend. If you received any dead on arrival, let us know with a picture within 2 hours of receiving the culture and we can refund or replace your order.
