Approximately 15.5 cm (6 inches) in height from the furthest Gargoyle edge to the shelf surface. The top shelf extends approximately 10.4 cm (4 1.5/16 inches), and being hand crafted the other extends 10.8 cm (4 1/4 inches), with an approximate width for one of them being 10.8 cm (4 1/4 inches), while the other is 10.7 cm (4 3.8/16 inches). These two bronze shelves were created for one of their beautiful Gothic or Neo Gothic buildings which France is So famous for. Extremely rare pieces for I have yet to see another pair !
